Why commission art?

An original oil painting is a unique way to tell a story and celebrate those we love. Much of Western art history's greatest hits were private commissions created as gifts, public art, or expressions of love. How do commissions work?

You have an idea and Flott translates it into a lasting memento. The subject matter can be a still life, a single portrait, a group or family portrait, or landscape. It might be your beloved pet, family home, or a simple arrangement of meaningful objects. Working from observation is the best way to truly capture a subject but photos may be better suited to other projects.
